Federico Fernández Alonso

Federico fernández Alonso has a Bachelor in Fine Arts from 1997. In this period he began to illustrate children’s books, paint and do exhibitions regularly, winning several awards for painting . In 2001 he received the National Prize of Illustration for the book entitled “¿Dónde perdió Luna la risa?” By Kalandraka editions.

Currently he is still illustrates books, paints murals and researchs about new media to develop his particular plastic world. He combines these activities with teaching art at the School of Arts and Crafts in Vigo, and organizing exhibitions at the alternative space and pop-up art gallery “El Halcón Milenario”.
