Ignacio Pérez-Jofre is an artist and professor at the University of Fine Arts in Pontevedra.
During these last years he has been working on paintings and drawings made from direct observation, always taken from his immediate environment: his house, the street or the studio. In his recent work he paints on items like pieces of rubble, floorboards, posters or napkins, developing a unique style.
Ignacio Pérez-Jofre goes around the city of Vigo painting buildings on pieces of rubble. This is true urban art. Exclusive video for Mambo Gallery.
We follow Ignacio Pérez-Jofre on another of his street actions. Pegada is the name of this project in which he draws with ink on torn advertising posters. This is one of them, made in the city of Vigo. Exclusive video for Mambo Gallery.
